With our app, you can read Europe's most subscribed IT magazine, c’t, and the c’t special editions on your mobile device.

Every two weeks, the largest IT editorial team in Germany presents you with tips, reports, and features that delve into technology: thoroughly researched, critically analyzed, and independently written.

You can choose between the original layout of the printed magazine or an interactive HTML reading view. The mobile-optimized reading view showcases articles with additional images, videos, and interactive tables.

You can sync bookmarks and purchased issues (from 2018 onwards) across your devices and platforms through your Heise account.

The app offers a free sample c’t issue and a c’t special edition for you to explore.

As a c't Plus or c't Digital subscriber, you can enjoy c’t on your device at no extra cost. Simply enter your subscription service online login details on the "Login" page in the app settings.

The app collects anonymous usage data, such as which articles are read, how often, and for how long. This information helps us tailor our content to the reader's interests. No data that could identify you personally is collected. Tracking is enabled by default but can be turned off in the app settings.

Upon initial launch, the app will ask whether you wish to receive push notifications. Regardless of your choice, you can adjust this setting at any time later on (app settings / communications).

Our current app version 4.x supports the latest iOS versions. Versions 1.x, 2.x, and 3.x are outdated and are no longer supported by our backend or are only supported in a limited capacity.
